Big gaming news is breaking today! Not only has Project Mugen received its official title, but Tencent's Polaris Quest has announced its upcoming open-world RPG, Light of Motiram, is heading to mobile devices, along with other platforms.

According to Gematsu, citing Chinese social media, Light of Motiram will launch on Epic Games Store, Steam, PlayStation 5, and apparently, mobile. This is a bold move, considering the game's impressive visuals and extensive feature set.

What exactly is Light of Motiram? It's a genre-bending experience. Initially appearing as a Genshin Impact-style open-world RPG, it throws in base-building (think Rust), customizable mechanical creatures reminiscent of Horizon Zero Dawn, and even elements suggesting Palworld's creature collection and customization.

The game's eclectic mix of features aims to avoid accusations of simply copying other titles, although its ambition is certainly noteworthy. Whether such a visually rich game with complex interconnected systems can successfully launch across multiple platforms, including mobile, remains to be seen.
