Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Update 1.2 Released – Steam Workshop Integration, Barber Shops, and More

Warhorse Studios has released a major free update, version 1.2, for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, bringing two exciting additions: native Steam Workshop mod integration and a brand-new barber shop system.

Steam Workshop integration streamlines mod installation, eliminating the need for third-party sites. However, availability depends on mod creator participation. Currently, a few mods are available, including "Free Saving" (unlimited saves), "Helmet of Henry VIII" (a historically-inspired helmet), "Tourist" (disables NPC trespass reactions), and "Pebbles the Zebra" (transforms your horse). While the initial selection is small, the vast library of over a thousand mods on Nexus Mods suggests a rapid expansion onto the Steam Workshop platform is likely. Popular mods are expected to appear soon.

Beyond modding, players can now customize their appearance at barber shops in Rattay and Kuttenberg, receiving a temporary Charisma boost with each visit.

Update 1.2 encompasses far more than these headline features. The extensive changelog on the game's official website details over a thousand bug fixes and improvements across the game. These include balance adjustments, refined animations, improved NPC behavior (especially the crime system), revised daily NPC schedules for greater realism, enhanced horse riding and trading mechanics, and improved character visuals and performance, particularly noticeable in Kuttenberg and large battles. A developer livestream next Thursday will further detail these changes.

Warhorse Studios' commitment to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II continues with three planned paid DLC expansions slated for release in spring, summer, and winter.

With Steam Workshop integration, new cosmetic options, and numerous gameplay refinements, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II offers an even richer and more immersive medieval experience.
