Honkai: Star Rail V2.6 Unveils Festive Paperfold University Anniversary!

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6: Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age Arrives October 23rd!

HoYoverse has unveiled details for Honkai: Star Rail's upcoming version 2.6 update, "Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age," launching October 23rd. This update transports players to Penacony and its vibrant Paperfold University, celebrating its anniversary with a flurry of student activities, clubs, music, and academic events.

The Spotlight: Rappa

The star of the show is the new 5-star character, Rappa, a Galaxy Ranger who also identifies as a ninja. Her gameplay incorporates ninjutsu, mantras, scrolls, graffiti, and even rap! Rappa is on a mission to track down the villainous Evil Ninja Osaru, and her ultimate attack, Sealform Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, features a first-person perspective, allowing players to decimate enemies and significantly reduce their Toughness.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 Events

Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription: Manage a band and prepare for a killer performance at the Dreamlight Anniversary music party alongside Rappa.
Warp Event: Limited 5-star characters Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine return in the warp event during both halves of the update.

Simulated Universe Expansion

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 also brings a substantial update to the Simulated Universe. Following the success of Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears, the third DLC, the Unknowable Domain, introduces a massive void linked to post-Second Emperor's War conflicts among scholars over the Scepter system – a powerful external thinking unit. Players will collect Scepters, upgrade them using Components, and exploit synergies to conquer a challenging final boss.
