Recent leaks suggest the formidable Impaler, a terrifying enemy from the original Helldivers, is poised to join the already impressive roster of foes in Helldivers 2. The game boasts a diverse range of enemies from the Terminid and Automaton factions, each with unique abilities and strengths, challenging players as they fight to liberate planets and defend Super Earth. IronS1ghts, a leaker with a proven track record (including previous leaks of Illuminate enemy models), reports the Impaler's addition to the game files in a recent patch. While the in-game model isn't yet publicly available, its presence in the files strongly suggests its imminent arrival.

The Impaler's signature attack involves burying its head, using its front tentacles to launch surprise attacks. Its heavily armored front necessitates precise targeting of its exposed face when it emerges. Like other Terminids, fire damage proves highly effective.

Helldivers 2's Terminid enemies are characterized by melee attacks, often utilizing claws, and some possess surprising speed.
