First introduced in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, Gold Armor addresses the frustration of constantly replenishing armor plates. It automatically repairs itself over time, even without plates in your inventory, optimizing resource management and ensuring protection against powerful enemies like Amalgams.

Acquiring the Gold Armor Vest: A Step-by-Step Guide

Locate Statue Heads: Find two statue heads within the Dark Aether Nexus. These are hidden inside destructible wooden boxes. Melee attack the boxes to reveal the heads, then pick them up. One box is near a palm tree in a corner of the Nexus (see image below), and the other is close to the Juggernog Perk Machine.
Repair the Statues: Take the statue heads to the Dig Site area. Place each head on a ruined Roman statue. One statue is near the Ammo Cache, and the other is closer to the Roman Mausoleum (where the Pack-a-Punch machine spawns).
Survive the Blood Sacrifices: After placing both heads, interact with each statue to initiate a Blood Sacrifice. This involves eliminating waves of powerful HVT enemies (Shock Mimics and Doppelghasts). The challenge is significantly harder due to the 1 HP limitation, but utilizing strategies like Mutant Injections (solo) or Chopper Gunners (co-op) can make it manageable.
