Fortnite's Next Season: "Wanted" - A Heist-Themed Adventure

Epic Games has unveiled the new Battle Pass skins for Fortnite's upcoming season, officially titled "Wanted." This heist-themed season promises high-octane robberies, featuring villainous characters, gold-laden vehicles, and explosive bank vaults.

The season kicks off on February 21st and includes a thrilling collaboration with Mortal Kombat. Sub-Zero, the iconic Mortal Kombat character, will be a featured Battle Pass skin, perfectly complementing the season's theme.

This collaboration coincides with the marketing push for Mortal Kombat 2, the upcoming film.

Skins will be available for purchase using V-Bucks, priced at the standard 1,500 V-Bucks per character.

Returning favorites include the Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret. While other weapons remain unannounced, speculation runs high regarding the potential return of items from previous heist-themed seasons, such as the EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, the Tommy Gun, and even the Grappler. These, however, are currently unconfirmed.

A highly anticipated addition is Smart Building, a new feature that anticipates your building needs based on your aiming direction.

The heist theme extends to gameplay mechanics, with vault breaches replacing keycards. Players will utilize Meltanite, a thermite-like substance, to access and secure their rewards from the vaults.
