After nearly three decades since its debut in theaters, Paul W.S. Anderson's cult classic Event Horizon is set to expand its universe with a thrilling prequel. IDW Publishing has announced Event Horizon: Dark Descent, a gripping five-issue comic book series that will delve into the harrowing events preceding the iconic film. This series aims to shed light on the mysterious fate of the original crew aboard the Event Horizon ship.
Dark Descent is penned by acclaimed writer Christian Ward, known for his work on Batman: City of Madness, and illustrated by Tristan Jones, famous for Aliens: Defiance. The vibrant colors are brought to life by Pip Martin, who has worked on That Texas Blood. The series boasts stunning cover art by Ward, Jeffrey Alan Love, Martin Simmonds, and Joshua Hixson, promising a visually stunning addition to the Event Horizon lore.
