Whether you're aiming for five- and six-star Tera Raid victories or conquering the ranked ladder in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, optimizing your Pokémon's stats is key. Simply leveling up through random encounters will leave you with suboptimal, even underwhelming, stats. Fortunately, efficiently farming Attack EVs is achievable in several locations.
This guide outlines the best spots for maximizing your Pokémon's Attack EVs.

Pokémon Center Area – North Province (Area Two)
A community favorite, this northeastern area (near Team Star's Fighting Crew base) boasts a high concentration of Pokémon yielding pure Attack EVs. These include Lokix, Scyther, Bisharp, Heracross, Dratini, and Ursaring. Note that not all Pokémon provide exclusively Attack EVs; Falinks, for example, offers a mix of Attack and Special Defense. Consistent battles are crucial for maximizing your Attack EV gains.
Eastern Edge of Porto Marinada
For consistent EV gains, the eastern outskirts of Porto Marinada offer groups of Paldean Tauros. Each defeated Tauros yields 2 Attack EVs, boosted to 10 with a Power Bracer. This allows for precise EV control; accumulate EVs, then remove the Bracer for fine-tuning.
How to Use the Power Bracer for EV Training
Before embarking on your EV training, equip the Power Bracer. This item, available at Delibird Presents stores (Mesagoza, Levincia, and Cascarrafa) for 10,000 Pokédollars, grants an additional +8 Attack EVs per defeated Pokémon. This significantly accelerates the process.
Best Pokémon for EV Attack Training
Mass outbreaks can significantly boost EV gains, but they're unpredictable. Two reliable choices are Flamigo and Paldean Tauros.
Flamigo
Common near lakes and swamps, Flamigo appear at various levels, making them suitable for even lower-level teams. Consider the southeastern lakes of the South Province (near Grasswither Shrine) or, for higher-level Flamigo, Casseroya Watchtower No. 1 (south of Casseroya Lake). Be mindful that Casseroya Watchtower Flamigo are around level 50.
Avoid battling Pokémon levels 9-20 with the "Detect" ability, which can slow down battles.
Paldean Tauros
Found in central-western and central-eastern areas, Paldean Tauros often appear in groups of five. The area south of Levincia is ideal. Some Paldean Tauros possess the "Intimidate" ability, slightly slowing battles.
EV Attack Training Recommendations
Both Flamigo and Paldean Tauros are excellent choices, yielding 2 Attack EVs each (10 with the Power Bracer). Only 26 battles are needed to reach the 252 EV cap. Remember, regular Tauros only yield 1 Attack EV, so avoid them.
The "Tropical Sandwich" (from Every Wich Way) grants the "Encounter Power: Fighting Lv. 1" bonus, increasing Fighting-type Pokémon encounters.
Kelpsy Berries reduce EVs by 10, useful for correcting over-training.
Efficient EV training requires patience. Prioritize locations like North Province Area Two, utilize the Power Bracer, and target Flamigo or Paldean Tauros during mass outbreaks. Avoid auto-battles and Pokémon with hindering abilities for optimal results.
