NCSoft abruptly announced the end-of-service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush. This is surprising, given the game hadn't even reached its full release. Following a global test in August 2023 and early access in June 2024, the game is shutting down just months later.
Battle Crush Shutdown Date:
Battle Crush servers will officially close on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases are no longer available. Refunds are being offered for purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024.
Android and Steam players can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Download any desired game content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward. The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for support purposes. Social media and Discord will close on January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure?
The EOS announcement is understandably disappointing for players who invested time in Battle Crush. While enjoyable, the game's somewhat clunky controls and pacing issues likely contributed to its premature closure. It simply didn't quite capture the desired level of polish.
You can still download Battle Crush from the Google Play Store before the servers go offline. For more gaming news, check out our upcoming article on Black Desert Mobile's autumn season and its story-driven quests.
