Authore: HunterUpdate:Mar 26,2025

Elliot Page, the star of PlayStation and Quantic Dream's story-driven adventure game Beyond: Two Souls, is spearheading a television series reimagining through his production company, Pageboy Productions. According to Deadline, the rights have been secured from Quantic Dream with the aim of transforming the game into a captivating TV series. Currently in the early stages of development, the project intends to maintain the original game's hallmark non-linear narrative, though specifics such as casting and release dates remain under wraps.

Reflecting on his experience with the game, Page described filming Beyond: Two Souls as "one of the most challenging and fulfilling acting experiences" of his career. He emphasized the story's "rich narrative and emotional depth" as a strong foundation for the TV adaptation, expressing a desire to craft a unique portrayal of the characters and their journeys that will appeal to both fans and new audiences.

Matt Jordan Smitt, head of development and production at Pageboy, shared insights into the team's vision to "honor the game’s legacy while inviting fresh perspectives." He underscored the importance of exploring themes of survival and the impact of pivotal decisions on individuals and their communities.

Beyond: Two Souls initially debuted on the PlayStation 3 in 2013 and later expanded to PlayStation 4 and PC in 2015 and 2019, respectively. Directed and penned by Quantic Dream’s David Cage, the game follows Jodie Holmes, a young woman with psychic abilities who interacts with a spirit named Aiden. Its non-linear storytelling and the involvement of high-profile actors like Page and Willem Dafoe contributed to its acclaim.

David Cage confirmed his collaboration with Page on the upcoming TV series, though the nature of his involvement has not been fully disclosed. Cage expressed enthusiasm about working with Page again, praising his performance in the game and his ability to bring the story to life on television. He noted, "Beyond: Two Souls is a very special game for millions of players around the world who were moved by the story of Jodie and Aiden, and their journey in life and beyond."
