Beloved Bethesda voice actor Wes Johnson, known for his roles in Skyrim, Fallout 3, Starfield, and numerous other titles, was discovered critically ill in his hotel room last week. His family is seeking public support to help cover his mounting medical expenses and living costs during his recovery.

As reported by PC Gamer, Johnson's wife Kim and family launched a GoFundMe campaign to solicit donations. The campaign states that Johnson is currently fighting for his life in an intensive care unit. The situation arose after Johnson failed to appear at a benefit event he was scheduled to host for the National Alzheimer’s Foundation in Atlanta on January 22nd. His wife, unable to reach him, alerted hotel security, who found him unconscious and barely alive.

The initial GoFundMe goal of $50,000 has been significantly surpassed, with over $144,791 raised from nearly 2,200 donors. Beyond his extensive video game voice acting career, Johnson is also a long-time public address announcer for the Washington Capitals hockey team and has acted in various film and television projects.

His notable video game roles within the Bethesda universe include Ron Hope in Starfield, Sheogorath and Lucien Lachance in Oblivion, three Daedric Princes (Boethiah, Malacath, and Molag Bal) in Morrowind, Fawkes and Maister Burke in Fallout 3, Hermaeus Mora and Emperor Titus Mede II in Skyrim, and Moe Cronin in Fallout 4, among many others.
