With only a few days left until Elden Ring Nightreign's release, FromSoftware developers confirm they are "constantly refining and balancing the game." In a May 27 interview with GamesRadar+, Director Junya Ishizaki shared his mix of excitement and nervousness as the launch draws near.

Despite the pressure, he remains confident in the title, noting that the team is continuously implementing improvements. Ishizaki stated, "We aim to polish every detail until the final moment. We're deeply focused on fine-tuning, maximizing the quality of each play session. Our goal is for players to feel satisfied and at ease during gameplay, so we're diligently refining the player experience and controls until the very end."

While FromSoftware is renowned for its single-player Souls titles, the studio has also created multiplayer elements for the Dark Souls and Armored Core series. However, Nightreign represents their most co-op focused project to date, making ongoing adjustments and balance changes essential for delivering an engaging and successful experience.

Official Launch Trailer Unveils Revenant

Elden Ring Nightreign's official launch trailer debuted on May 27, presenting cinematic scenes that highlighted the game's character classes and several dramatic boss encounters. Fans were also introduced to the eighth and final Nightfarer, known as Revenant.

The trailer depicted Revenant wielding her distinctive harp-like weapon, along with a shot emphasizing her puppet-like hands. This character was initially hinted at in the game's 10-minute overview trailer. Unlike other revealed characters, Revenant has not yet received a dedicated overview or gameplay trailer, leaving fans eager for more details about her abilities.

The Night Hunt Livestream Event

On May 28, Bandai Namco US announced via Twitter (X) that they will host a livestream event called Night Hunt, featuring eight teams of three players competing across three battle rounds. The stream will be broadcast on Bandai Namco US's official Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok channels, scheduled for May 28 at 3:00 PM PT / 6:00 PM ET.
