eFootball joins forces with FIFA for FIFAe World Cup 2024!

Konami and FIFA's esports collaboration: a surprising twist in the football gaming world! This unexpected partnership, following years of FIFA vs. PES rivalry, brings the FIFAe Virtual World Cup 2024 to Konami's eFootball platform.

In-Game Qualifiers on eFootball Are Live!

The tournament features Console (PS4 and PS5) and Mobile divisions. Eighteen countries are vying for the final spots: Brazil, Japan, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, England, France, Costa Rica, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Thailand, and Turkey.

In-game qualifiers, running in three stages, are live from October 10th to 20th. National Nomination Phases for the 18 countries follow from October 28th to November 3rd.

The offline final round will conclude in late 2024 (exact date TBA). Even if your country isn't among the 18, you can still participate in the qualifiers up to Round 3, earning rewards like 50 eFootball coins, 30,000 XP, and other bonuses.

The Unexpected FIFA and eFootball Alliance -----------------------------------------

This collaboration marks an intriguing turn after years of competition. To provide background, EA and FIFA ended their long-standing partnership in 2022 due to a disagreement over licensing fees. FIFA's request for a substantial increase (to $1 billion every four years from $150 million) led to the split. This resulted in EA releasing EA Sports FC 24 in 2023 without the FIFA branding. Now, FIFA has partnered with Konami's eFootball for the FIFAe World Cup 2024.

Download eFootball from the Google Play Store and participate in the current special event. Get a custom Bruno Fernandes and an 8x match experience multiplier to boost your Dream Team progress.
