BioWare has largely shifted focus from Dragon Age: The Veilguard, yet a small team has quietly released a free DLC weapons pack for the game.
Fans of Dragon Age were stunned when the game’s Steam page was updated yesterday to include a free add-on, the Rook’s Weapons Appearance Offer. While modest, this addition is a welcome surprise, especially since EA had indicated minimal future support for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Following the fifth patch in January, which focused on fixing critical bugs, new content seemed unlikely—making this release feel like a small miracle.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard joined the PlayStation Plus March 2025 lineup, just four months after release. No further plans for its future have been revealed.
