Embark on a side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to recover Vostatek's missing horse, Pepik, and reap the rewards!
This guide details the "Lackey" quest, beginning at Gamemaster Vostatek's residence west of Tachov. Speak with either Zlata or Vitek to initiate the quest. Vitek, located slightly southeast of the house, is the starting point.
The quest leads you north to where Vostatek is under wolf attack. Rescue him and then help him reach his campsite where Pepik was last seen.
Unfortunately, Pepik is gone, stolen by poachers. Follow the trail of clues leading to a poacher's camp.
Engage the poachers strategically. Taking out those at the camp's edge individually is easier than facing them all at once. Alternatively, you can retrieve Pepik and escape before engaging the tougher poachers within the camp.
Return Pepik to Vostatek's campsite. You can then choose to fast travel with him back to his home, receiving a generous reward of Groschen and access to lodging whenever needed. With your newfound wealth, you can now purchase equipment or pursue other adventures.
