Early in the level, you'll come across a snowy arena with a bouncing ladybug enemy. Venture slightly beyond it to encounter a charging pig. Grab the pig after it charges, then swing it towards the edge of your platform to target an icy statue. Release the pig to demolish the statue. Retrace your steps, flip the ladybug, and bounce up to a new platform. Execute a charged spin attack to enter a room housing the secret portal.

This portal is among the easiest to locate. Right at the level's start, turn around to see platforms with an electric enemy. Swim to it and provoke it into electrocuting the platforms, thus revealing a wall with the hidden portal behind it.

Hidden Portal #6: Bathhouse Battle

Mid-level, locate the house with a flaming chimney. After absorbing water, ascend to the roof and douse the flames. Descend the chimney to find a room with the secret portal.

Hidden Portal #7: Hieiroglitch Pyramid

At the level's end, turn right to an area with falling jewels. Use the bounce pad to reach a hidden portal area. Trigger a trap before reaching it, and locate hidden switches in two walls to open the pathway to the portal.

Hidden Portal #8: Balloon Breeze

The most intricate portal to find, you'll need the puffer-fish power-up. Backtrack to an area near the level's start with a platform and a bouncing ladybug.
