The New Denpa Men has officially arrived on Android. Originally released for the Nintendo Switch in July 2024 by developer and publisher Genius Sonority, the mobile version includes a few key differences.
Take Your Quirky Denpa Crew Anywhere
A major advantage of the Android release is its cross-platform play support. If you've already been catching and battling Denpa Men on Switch, you can seamlessly transfer your progress and continue your adventure on your mobile device.
The Android and iOS versions introduce a new feature called QR Catch. This replaces the standard Normal Catch method, allowing you to scan nearby QR codes to recruit new Denpa Men for your team. However, some features from the Switch version, such as Together Catch and Offline Catch, are not available on mobile.
Another addition is the Voucher Collection system. After battles, monsters may randomly drop special vouchers known as Akashi. Collecting these vouchers helps you complete your collection, and they can be gifted to friends or utilized strategically in combat.
A fun new twist involves scarecrows. You can now use them to summon monsters that will fight alongside your party, attacking enemies and providing healing support. For a closer look, watch the game's trailer below.
Will You Be Catching The New Denpa Men on Android?
The Denpa Men are peculiar little creatures that float invisibly through radio waves. Your mission is to capture them, train them, and lead them on grand adventures. The game combines dungeon crawling with relaxing activities like decorating your island, interacting with your Denpa Men, and fishing. It also features various event-based and evolving extra stages to explore.
You can download The New Denpa Men now from the Google Play Store. The game is designed primarily for touchscreen controls but also offers full controller support.
