Defeating the Exalted One in Fisch

In Fisch, only a handful of fishing rods are obtainable for free via quests. The Tides of Gold update introduced a new free rod, the Rod of the Exalted One. While technically free, acquiring it demands significant time and in-game currency due to the quest's requirements for uniquely mutated items. Here's how to obtain it:

Finding The Keeper's Secret in Fisch

To acquire the Rod of the Exalted One, you must first locate The Keeper's Secret. This hidden location is situated on one of the base islands. Access is free. To reach it, head to Mushgrove Swamp.

On this island, locate a disguised wall within the rocks. This is challenging to find without prior knowledge. From the Shipwright NPC, proceed straight into the island. Upon encountering tall rocks, turn left; you'll find a darker, visually distinct fake wall. Pass through carefully; the cave beyond is small, containing only an elevator and a dangerous drop shaft. Avoid falling down the shaft by carefully entering the elevator to reach The Keeper's Secret, where seven differently colored pedestals await.

Solving The Keeper's Secret Puzzle

Seven uniquely mutated Enchant Relics must be placed on the pedestals. These are not randomly generated; specific mutations are required:

Greedy Relic
Translucent Relic
Atlantean Relic
Crystalized Relic
Hexed Relic
Mosaic Relic
Fossilized Relic

The most efficient method is purchasing Relics from the Merlin NPC and appraising them during Mutation Surge events. This will, however, require a substantial in-game investment.

Once all correctly mutated Relics are placed, you'll receive the Rod of the Exalted One and three Exalted Relics.

Rod of the Exalted One Stats

The Rod of the Exalted One boasts excellent stats, ideal for mid-game players. Its special ability significantly boosts Exalted Relic catch rates.
