Cyberpunk's Lucy Joins Guilty Gear

Season 4 Pass Announcement

Arc System Works is revving up Guilty Gear Strive with Season 4, introducing a thrilling new 3v3 Team Mode. This mode throws six players into intense team battles, creating dynamic strategic combinations and a more challenging gameplay experience. Season 4 also welcomes back the beloved Dizzy and Venom from Guilty Gear X, alongside the brand-new Unika from the upcoming Guilty Gear Strive -Dual Rulers, and the unexpected addition of Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. This blend of returning favorites, fresh faces, and a surprising crossover promises a season of innovative gameplay and exciting new content for both veterans and newcomers.

New 3v3 Team Mode

The standout feature of Season 4 is the 3v3 Team Mode, pitting teams of three against each other in strategic battles. This format encourages players to leverage character strengths, cover weaknesses, and develop tactical approaches based on team composition and matchup knowledge. Adding another layer of depth, each character will have a unique "Break-In" special move, usable only once per match.

Currently, the 3v3 mode is in Open Beta, allowing players to experience the new mode firsthand and provide valuable feedback.

New and Returning Characters

Queen Dizzy

Returning from Guilty Gear X, Queen Dizzy boasts a regal new look and hints at significant story developments. Her versatile fighting style blends ranged and melee attacks, adapting to opponents' strategies. Expect Queen Dizzy in October 2024.

Venom

The billiard-ball wielding Venom also makes his comeback from Guilty Gear X. His unique gameplay revolves around strategic ball placement to control the battlefield, offering a high-skill, rewarding experience for tactical players. Venom arrives in Early 2025.

Unika

Unika, a fresh face from the upcoming anime adaptation Guilty Gear -Strive- Dual Rulers, will join the roster in 2025.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners Crossover: Lucy

Season 4's biggest surprise is the addition of Lucy, the first-ever guest character in Guilty Gear Strive, marking a significant crossover with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. This follows in the footsteps of other successful fighting game crossovers, such as Geralt of Rivia in Soul Calibur VI. Players can anticipate a technically skilled character, with Lucy's cybernetic enhancements and netrunning abilities translating into unique gameplay mechanics. Lucy will be playable in 2025.
