Crunchyroll Drops Anime Blu-ray Prices on Amazon

Authore: MadisonUpdate:Oct 24,2025

If you've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to expand your anime collection, I have some exciting updates (though your wallet might not agree). Crunchyroll is hosting a home video sale until June 24, which coincides with Amazon's ongoing "Buy One, Get One 50% Off" promotion on Blu-rays. Between these two sales, you can find numerous discounts on individual anime seasons, movies, and even collector's editions. Here are some standout deals.

Blu-rays Hitting Their Lowest Price at Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll is widely recognized as a top anime streaming platform, but for fans who prefer physical media, the Crunchyroll Store also offers a wide range of DVDs, collectibles, and anime merchandise.

The current Crunchyroll sale offers 40-55% off select older classics like Ouran High School Host Club (which might just be my all-time favorite shoujo anime), as well as more recent home video releases such as The Apothecary Diaries. I've personally verified that these DVDs and Blu-rays are at their lowest-ever prices on Crunchyroll right now:

While a Crunchyroll subscription isn't required to place orders, having one unlocks extra discounts on select items. Also, note that Crunchyroll provides free shipping only on orders exceeding $75.

Anime Also Included in Amazon's "Buy One, Get One 50% Off" Deal

Amazon is also running a "Buy One, Get One 50% Off" sale covering Blu-rays, books, and even board games. At a quick glance, the Amazon promotion includes beloved classics like Sailor Moon and Pokémon, alongside Studio Ghibli favorites such as Kiki's Delivery Service. I'm personally grabbing my go-to (and highly popular) anime film, Makoto Shinkai's Your Name.

Unlike Crunchyroll, Amazon's sale isn't limited to anime. You can mix and match across different categories and even include a book (or manga volume) as your second item. To take advantage of the offer, simply add two eligible products to your cart, and a 50% discount will automatically apply to the lower-priced item. As my colleague Chris Reed clarifies in his analysis of the Blu-ray sale, "Please note that Amazon uses somewhat confusing wording that may suggest you need to purchase two items to get one at half price, but that's not accurate. It's actually buy one, get one half off." Explore the full sale here.
