Unlocking Master Schindel's Toys in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
This guide helps you complete the challenging Master Schindel's Toys quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This side quest becomes available during the main story mission, "Into the Underworld."
The quest begins by finding Goatskin, a key informant. Talking to the Bathhouse Madam and then Adam at the bathhouse will lead you to Goatskin. He's elusive, so follow Udo, a bathhouse patron who leaves in the evening. Goatskin will attempt to rob Udo in a nearby alley, providing your opportunity to confront him.
Interrogating Goatskin might yield a map ("Map of Kuttenberg Underground") – if not, bribe him. The map pinpoints the location of the stolen items at the Kuttenberg gallows (southeastern city).
Locating the Stolen Goods
To efficiently retrieve the items, locate the northern entrance to the Kuttenberg Underground. Descend the ladder, taking your torch. Navigate the dark underground passages, consistently turning left at junctions. You'll eventually reach a dead end with a barrel containing the stolen book and astrolabe.
Return to Master Schindel (usually found northeast in the city during the day) with the recovered items to complete the quest. He'll reward you, and you can further engage him to learn about the astrolabe and planetary movements.
Completing this brief side quest offers valuable reputation points and rewards.
