How To Collect Mineral Samples Using the Plasma Burst Laser in Fortnite
Once you've acquired your Epic weapon, locate a destructible stone structure. Note that not just any stone will do; the structure must be destroyed to yield mineral samples. Find a stone you can break with your Pickaxe.
Aim your Plasma Burst Laser at the stone and fire. After destroying it, a small piece of rock containing the mineral samples will appear on the ground. Interact with it to complete the quest.
