CD Projekt Red is on the hunt for talent to bring its mysterious Project Hadar to life

CD Projekt Red's VP and Narrative Lead, Marcin Blacha, highlights the need for an "exceptional team" to bring Project Hadar to life. Aspiring developers are urged to explore available positions and contribute to this exciting new title.

Unlike the Witcher series (based on Andrzej Sapkowski's novels) and Cyberpunk 2077 (originating from a tabletop RPG), Project Hadar is set within a completely original CD Projekt universe. While specifics are limited (excluding confirmation that it won't be a space horror), the project has recently expanded its development team beyond the initial twenty members.

Currently, the Hadar team is actively seeking programmers, VFX artists, technical artists, writers, and mission designers. The enthusiastic response from leading developers, describing this opportunity as "once-in-a-lifetime," suggests a significant shift from initial concept to full-fledged production.

CD Projekt Red is concurrently managing multiple projects. The largest team is focused on Project Polaris, the inaugural title in the new Witcher trilogy featuring Ciri. Two additional teams are developing a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel and another game within the Witcher universe.
