How To Break & Repair a Broken Object in The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event

Authore: SadieUpdate:Feb 27,2025

The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event offers numerous rewards, but acquiring them presents challenges. One particularly tricky task involves breaking and repairing an object. This guide provides a straightforward solution.

The Ambassador toilet, a key element in completing the repair challenge.

Week 2's challenge requires raising your Sim's Handiness skill to level 2 or higher and then repairing a broken object. The difficulty lies in locating a broken item. Instead of searching, create a broken object yourself.

The easiest method is to repeatedly use an inexpensive item until it breaks. The Ambassador toilet is an ideal choice; using it approximately a dozen times will cause it to malfunction. This can be done by your Sim or by having guests use it. Once broken, the toilet will be flagged as a repairable item.

Repairing the broken object is simple. With your Sim's Handiness at level 2 or above, select the "Repair" option on the broken toilet. This will resolve the malfunction and complete the challenge.
