During GDC 2025 in San Francisco, Ayaneo unveiled its first Android gaming products, including the Ayaneo Gaming Pad. A Chinese handheld gaming company founded in 2020, Ayaneo initially rose to prominence with its Windows-based portable gaming PCs.
Over time, Ayaneo has broadened its portfolio with impressive gaming hardware, including Android-powered devices. Let’s dive into the details of Ayaneo’s newly launched Android gaming lineup.
What Are the Two New Ayaneo Android Gaming Devices?
The two new offerings are the Ayaneo Gaming Pad, an Android gaming tablet, and the Ayaneo Pocket S2, a handheld gaming console. Both are equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform, placing them among the first devices to utilize this chipset. It delivers significant upgrades in CPU and GPU performance compared to the prior generation.
The tablet sports an 8.3-inch LCD display with a 1440p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing and Snapdragon Game Super Resolution. For smoother and more reliable online gaming, it includes Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
With a glass back and a CNC-machined metal frame, the Ayaneo Gaming Pad offers a premium build. It also features a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP front-facing camera—making it one of the rare gaming tablets with advanced camera capabilities.
Alongside the tablet, the Pocket S2 is an Android handheld featuring a 6.3-inch 1440p screen. It boasts an upgraded Hall-effect joystick, linear triggers, and dual X-axis motors for immersive haptic feedback.
The handheld includes Ayaneo’s proprietary software—AyaSpace and AyaHome—for managing and customizing your game library. Like the tablet, it runs on the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform, improving energy efficiency and performance while enabling hardware-accelerated ray tracing and other cutting-edge gaming features.
