Kamitsubaki City Ensemble: A Post-Apocalyptic Rhythm Game
Studio Lalala's upcoming rhythm game, Kamitsubaki City Ensemble, is set to launch on August 29, 2024, for Android, iOS, PC, Switch, and other consoles. Priced affordably at just $3 (440 Yen), this title promises a unique blend of rhythm gameplay and post-apocalyptic storytelling.
The Game's Premise
In a world ravaged by destruction, hope flickers through the survival of AI girls. Their mission: to revive melodies and restore the world. The game unfolds this narrative gradually, revealing the secrets behind the apocalypse and the AI girls' existence as you progress. Players must unravel the truth and aid these girls in their musical reconstruction efforts.
Gameplay Details
Kamitsubaki City Ensemble features five AI girls and five witches, each contributing to the vibrant rhythm action. The gameplay involves tapping rhythm buttons in sync with the music and the characters' dance moves. Four difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard, and pro) cater to various skill levels, starting with four lanes and escalating to a challenging seven.
The game's soundtrack boasts 48 songs from the Kamitsubaki Studio and Musical Isotope series, including popular tracks like "Devour the Past," "Carnivorous Plant," "Sirius's Heart," and "Terra." A season pass will provide a continuous flow of new musical content.
