Le White Wolf revient pour son dernier voyage en tant que production pour The Witcher Season 5 bat son plein. De nouvelles photos passionnantes mettant en vedette Liam Hemsworth comme l'emblématique Geralt de Rivia ont fait surface en ligne, donnant aux fans un nouveau aperçu du personnage bien-aimé. Ces photos de sets apparemment divulguées, disponibles sur le site de fans de Witcher dédié Redanian Intelligence, présentent Hemsworth en costume complet, avec les longs cheveux blonds signature de Geralt. Aux côtés d'Hemsworth, des visages familiers comme Meng'er Zhang en tant que Milva et Joey Batey en tant que Jaskier font également une apparition, poursuivant leurs rôles de lorsque Henry Cavill, l'ancien acteur de Superman, a mené la série. Le casting de Hemsworth en tant que Geralt a été annoncé en octobre 2022, prenant le relais de Cavill à partir de la saison 4 et se terminant par la cinquième et dernière saison.

Les images définies révèlent également de nouveaux personnages qui se déroulent dans la saison 4 et se poursuivent dans la dernière saison, notamment l'acteur légendaire Laurence Fishburne, connu pour son rôle dans Morbius , qui représentera Emiel Regis. Netflix n'a pas encore annoncé le remplacement de Bodnia ou confirmer une date de sortie pour la saison 4, laissant les fans attendant avec impatience d'autres mises à jour.
