Fans of gacha games are always eager to keep up with the financial performance of their favorite titles. The latest figures for January 2025 have just been released, shedding light on the industry's top earners.
Genshin Impact, developed by miHoYo (HoYoverse), made headlines last month with a significant update featuring the pyro archon and the highly anticipated Mawuika banner. This update propelled the game to double its revenue from December 2024, reaching an impressive $99.4 million compared to $45.6 million the previous month.

Securing the second spot was Pokemon TCG, which earned $64 million, while the popular "female gacha" game, Love and Deepspace, rounded out the top three with $55.2 million in revenue.
Meanwhile, Honkai Star Rail saw a decline in earnings, reporting $50.8 million, and Zenless Zone Zero experienced a significant drop, with its revenue halving from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.
It's important to note that these rankings only include earnings from mobile platforms. Some games, like those from miHoYo, are also available on PC. Additionally, a unique calculation method is used for the Chinese market, where Google Play is not available. Revenue estimates for Android in China are determined using a multiplier based on iOS earnings in the country.
