Tactical Adventures has released a free demo for Solasta 2, their upcoming turn-based tactical RPG within the Dungeons & Dragons universe. This follow-up to Solasta: Crown of the Magister lets players create a four-hero party and journey through Neokhos, battling an ancient evil while seeking redemption. Choices significantly impact the narrative, offering substantial player agency.
The demo includes core elements from the original Solasta, such as tactical turn-based combat, extensive character customization, and dynamic NPC interactions. A helpful "Helpful Dice" feature (toggleable) mitigates bad luck streaks for new players. Clever use of the environment is key to strategic combat success.
Players can enjoy the demo solo or cooperatively with friends, similar to Divinity: Original Sin. The demo provides a taste of the full game's challenging class-based encounters and depth. Tactical Adventures welcomes player feedback to enhance the final release.
