NetEase announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run since its global Android release, the game will officially shut down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected.
For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a 4v1 mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful Dead by Daylight title. Originally released on PC in June 2016, the mobile version launched in April 2020. This thrilling survival horror pits Killers against Survivors in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse. Players can choose to stalk and sacrifice Survivors as a Killer, or fight for survival as a Survivor trying to evade capture.
Dead by Daylight Mobile's End Date:
The official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date.
NetEase will provide details regarding refunds on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional regulations.
Transition to PC or Console:
Existing players can transition to the PC or console versions of Dead by Daylight. A welcome package awaits those making the switch, and loyalty rewards will be offered for in-game purchases or earned XP on the mobile version.
