The latest State of Play event unveiled an exciting new trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, showcasing gameplay footage, a deeper dive into the revamped Snake vs. Monkey mode featuring Ape Escape characters, and what appears to be a subtle hint at Metal Gear Online.
The trailer highlights Snake's signature stealth tactics—crawling undetected, using disguises, hiding in vegetation, and engaging in intense combat during some of the franchise's most iconic boss battles.
The trailer shifts tone toward the end with a playful showcase of the Snake vs. Monkey mode. Originally teased with Ape Escape characters capturing monkeys stealthily, Xbox players will instead experience a Bomberman-themed variant—possibly revealed during Xbox's upcoming showcase.
Most intriguingly, the trailer's closing moments seem to hint at Metal Gear Online's return. That cryptic "and more" tagline leaves plenty to speculate.
