How To Find the Cat Island in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

To embark on this feline adventure, you'll need to journey to the Omi region, which you'll typically reach around the midpoint of the story. Ensure your characters are well-prepared and leveled up before heading northeast to Omi.

Your destination is Lake Biwa, a vast body of water central to the region. For the best experience, it's advisable to secure a boat from settlements like Azuchi or Omizo. Alternatively, you can swim, though a boat will make your journey smoother.

Finding the Cat Island in Assassin's Creed Shadows

Your target is the larger island in the middle of Lake Biwa, just northwest of Azuchi. Navigate to this island, and you'll discover Okishima, complete with a Kakurega where you can rest. You'll notice plenty of fish being dried near the docks, a sure sign of a cat-friendly environment.

To immerse yourself in the feline paradise on Okishima, head north towards the Leap of Faith. As you ascend, you'll encounter more and more cats. Don't forget to pet them to add these delightful creatures to your collection for use in the Hideout, especially the rare kittens, which are hard to find elsewhere.

While most Leaps of Faith reveal new locations on your map, the true treasure on Okishima is your new feline companions. After exploring and landing in the haystack, there's not much else to do except enjoy the company of the cats. You'll also revisit Okishima later in Yasuke’s story, adding another layer of excitement to your journey.
