Treyarch marks 115 Day with exciting Black Ops 6 Zombies reveals, including a brand new map titled The Tomb. This January 15 celebration brings special treats for Call of Duty fans, featuring a comprehensive blog post detailing all upcoming zombie-themed content.

The highlight announcement showcases The Tomb, a desert-themed Zombies map launching with Season 2 on January 28. This follows Season 1's Citadelle des Morts, meaning players will get another fresh Zombies experience in under two weeks.

Treyarch's narrative teaser reveals: "After escaping Citadelle des Morts' horrors, Weaver, Grey, Carver and Maya investigate Gabriel Krafft's final clue - an excavation site housing the Sentinel Artifact. These burial chambers, untouched since 2500 B.C.E. until 20th century explorers disturbed them, may conceal more than anyone anticipates."

Described as connected to British archaeologist Sir Archibald Fotherington-Smythe, The Tomb's lore implications remain mysterious. Gameplay wise, it promises Liberty Falls' signature tight spaces and replayability focus, packed with hidden Easter eggs.

Season 2 also brings quality-of-life enhancements like tracking 10 Calling Card and Camo challenges simultaneously across modes. Zombies gains co-op pause functionality and match rejoining with loadouts. Gameplay changes include separated HUD presets for Zombies and Multiplayer.

A reimagined Wonder Weapon "inspired by classic designs" and a returning fan-favorite SMG round out the tease list, though specifics remain classified.

115 Day celebrations include double GobbleGum rates and XP boosts (all modes) until January 21 at 10AM PT. Treyarch also revealed impressive stats: players have spent over 480 million hours in Black Ops 6 Zombies since launch.

"Directed Mode successfully doubled Main Quest completion rates from 3.38% to 8.23% since November," developers noted, highlighting its success in onboarding new Zombies fans.

Voice actor recasts for beloved Zombies characters (due to SAG-AFTRA strike) may interest players when The Tomb arrives.
