Dans NieR:Automata, les épées courtes offrent des vitesses d'attaque rapides et des hitbox étroites, ce qui en fait des armes polyvalentes. Bien que les améliorations améliorent leur longévité, de nombreuses armes puissantes, comme l'épée Type-40, offrent des augmentations de puissance significatives. Cependant, l’obtention de l’épée Type-40 nécessite de terminer une chaîne de quêtes secondaires, facilement manquées sans une attention particulière. Voici comment l'acquérir :

Acquérir l'épée de type 40

L'épée de type 40 est la récompense pour avoir terminé la quête secondaire "Trouver un cadeau", la dernière quête d'une série impliquant l'opérateur 6O. Pour le débloquer, vous devez terminer deux quêtes précédentes :

  1. Après le chapitre 5 : Après avoir vaincu Adam et Eve au chapitre 5, vous recevez un appel de l'opérateur 6O lançant la quête « Enquête sur les communications ». Complétez-le immédiatement car il est facile de le manquer.

  2. Chapitre 6 et 7 : Progressez dans le chapitre 6 (événements du château forestier) et dans le chapitre 7. Après avoir parlé avec Pascal à propos d'A2, explorez les ruines de la ville pour déclencher un autre appel de l'opérateur 6O, menant au Quête "Réparations de terminaux".

  3. Appel final & "Trouver un cadeau" : Lors du retour au camp de résistance au chapitre 7, un dernier appel de l'opérateur 6O introduit la quête "Trouver un cadeau". Vérifiez votre boîte de réception à un point d'accès pour commencer.

  4. Récompense : Terminer « Trouver un cadeau » vous permet d'obtenir l'épée de type 40 dans votre boîte de réception.

Statistiques et améliorations de l'épée de type 40 :

Au niveau 1, l'épée Type-40 effectue un combo d'attaques légères de 5 coups et un combo d'attaques lourdes de 3 coups. Le mettre à niveau au niveau 4 augmente le combo d'attaque légère à 7 coups et augmente son efficacité contre les ennemis étourdis. Un alliage de titane est requis pour ces mises à niveau.
