Le jeu vous transporte à Paris en 1965, où vous incarnez Monique, une cambrioleuse parisienne qui aspire à une vie meilleure. Son rêve ? Pour s'échapper au Chili et renouer avec son ancien père.

Cependant, avant de pouvoir réserver son vol, elle doit réussir un braquage audacieux pour acquérir un diamant précieux. Mais les choses se compliquent lorsque quelqu'un d'autre jette son dévolu sur Monique, augmentant considérablement les enjeux.

Midnight Girl propose un gameplay de puzzle 2D classique, principalement des puzzles basés sur l'inventaire.
