FINAL FANTASY VII Remake et Rebirth ont reçu des mises à jour qui résolvent le problème du contrôleur

Les correctifs pour FINAL FANTASY VII Remake sont désormais disponibles sur Steam, Epic Games Store et PlayStation 5. Cette mise à jour cible les problèmes de moteur du contrôleur affectant les vibrations. Le jeu suit Cloud Strife, un ancien SOLDAT, alors qu'il rejoint Avalanche pour empêcher la Shinra Electric Power Company de détruire la planète.

FINAL FANTASY VII Rebirth, la suite continuant l'histoire après l'évasion de Midgar, reçoit la mise à jour 1.080. Cette mise à jour améliore le réalisme et le retour tactile. La version PC sera lancée le 23 janvier 2025. Ce deuxième volet de la trilogie élargit le scénario en mettant l'accent sur l'exploration.

Bien que les ventes initiales de Final Fantasy XVI en mai 2024 aient été décevantes, les ventes ont finalement ralenti, tombant finalement en deçà des objectifs financiers projetés. Les chiffres précis des ventes restent confidentiels. De même, Square Enix n'a pas publié de données de ventes pour FINAL FANTASY VII Rebirth, qui ont également sous-performé les attentes.
