Square Enix a finalisé les spécifications PC pour Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, révélant le besoin d'un matériel puissant, notamment pour la résolution 4K. À peine deux semaines avant le lancement sur PC, les exigences mises à jour mettent en évidence les visuels exigeants du jeu. Le point clé à retenir est la recommandation d'une carte graphique haut de gamme dotée de 12 à 16 Go de VRAM pour un gameplay 4K optimal. Cela souligne la fidélité visuelle du jeu. La version PC exploite la mise à l'échelle DLSS, la prise en charge de ShaderModel 6.6 et DirectX 12 Ultimate pour des performances et des fonctionnalités graphiques améliorées.

    Ce port PC arrive presque un an après la sortie PS5, suite à un patch d'amélioration PS5 Pro. Contrairement à Final Fantasy 7 Remake, cependant, Rebirth ne recevra aucun DLC après le lancement. Square Enix se concentre actuellement sur Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3.
