Basic Rules

The gameplay is based on a simple yet engaging rock-paper-scissors mechanic: Goo defeats scissors, scissors defeat Par, and Par defeats Goo. The goal is to defeat your opponent's King like in traditional chess! Even those who think [yyxx] is complicated will find this version easy and enjoyable.

How to Play

Each piece has its own movement range indicated by arrows, making every move strategic. If your King gets captured, you lose the match! The King can move one square in any direction.

Special Mechanics:

Capture & Reuse: When you attack an opponent’s piece, you take control of it. You can later place it on any empty square!
Aiko (Draw): If both players attack with the same type of frame, it results in a draw. You can then seal the move by placing your frame on top of the opponent's (except for icons, which can still be attacked by the opponent).
Promotion: If you reach the opposite end of the board with one of your pieces, it upgrades! Just like in [ttpp], the upgraded piece gains more mobility (e.g., the King can now move one square in any direction).

Game Modes

There is only one play mode available, so you don’t need to worry about competitive rankings. Playing alone is a great way to master the secrets of rock-paper-scissor shogi at your own pace.
