The Guardians of the Road project is back with a new app, featuring a more convenient and enhanced user experience.

Join the Road Guard initiative and help save lives!

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road - the road of all of us" project aims to boost public awareness and promote careful, safe driving through deterrence. Since January 1, 2023, the "Safe Path" association has been operating the project.

Any citizen aged 18 or over can download the "Road Guards" app and begin using it to document traffic violations.

The app is simple and fast to operate. Activate it before you start driving. When you witness a traffic violation, trigger the reporting feature in one of two ways: using a voice command or pressing the Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then begin recording and capturing details of the offense.

These reports are sent to a control center staffed by experienced volunteer traffic controllers. After review, a "letter on the way" containing a link to the violation video is sent to the documented individual. For life-threatening offenses, the project's report is escalated to the police for further action.
