Le mode Rewind change la donne. Faites équipe avec des joueurs légendaires et influencez directement le résultat du jeu. Ce mode comporte deux éléments clés : les Top Plays et les Replays.

Les Top Plays proposent des défis rapides visant à recréer des moments mémorables des récents matchs de la NBA. Maîtrisez la performance d'un seul joueur ou menez une équipe à la victoire, en reproduisant d'incroyables buzzers ou des séquences de but dominantes.

Les rediffusions offrent une expérience plus profonde et plus immersive. Participez à des jeux complets de 20 minutes (avec des quarts de 5 minutes), soit en recréant des jeux réels, soit en modifiant leurs résultats. Participez aux classements bihebdomadaires pour mettre en valeur vos compétences.

Nouveaux niveaux de joueur ---------

Trois nouveaux niveaux de joueur (Agate, Malachite et Moonstone) ont été introduits, s'ajoutant au paysage compétitif. Ces niveaux seront présentés dans les tournois remaniés. Le jeu bénéficie également d'une nouvelle refonte visuelle, améliorant les sections menus, MyCards et Catalogue.
