L'atmosphère d'Halloween est immédiatement apparente. Le Chemin de Traverse et le château de Poudlard reçoivent des décorations festives et de nouveaux lieux se joignent aux festivités d'Halloween. Une chasse aux citrouilles sur le thème de la maison offre des récompenses magiques jusqu'au 31 octobre, et une expédition de créatures met les joueurs au défi d'affronter la redoutable Acromantula.

Nouveaux défis et créatures :

Le Swooping Evil, une créature terrifiante des "Animaux Fantastiques", a infiltré le château de Poudlard. Une aventure spéciale oblige les joueurs à aider Hagrid à la capturer avant que quiconque ne soit blessé. Une nouvelle quête secondaire, "Le vampire de Pré-au-lard", présente des vampires qui se cachent près de Poudlard, incitant le professeur Dumbledore à fermer Pré-au-lard. Les joueurs doivent débloquer la statue de la sorcière borgne pour découvrir le mystère caché dans le brouillard.

Le journal de Poudlard : une nouvelle fonctionnalité :

La mise à jour introduit le journal de Poudlard, une nouvelle fonctionnalité consistant à résoudre des énigmes dans le jeu pour révéler des œuvres d'art via des encriers magiques. Cela débloque un récit plus vaste centré sur les parchemins Lost Spore du professeur Phyllida Spore, une ancienne directrice, et leurs secrets sur les champignons magiques de Poudlard.
