Escape from Tarkov's wipe, initialement prévu avant le Nouvel An pour coïncider avec une quête de conteneur Kappa plus facile, a désormais une heure de sortie confirmée : le 26 décembre à 7h00 GMT / 2h00 EST. Après une période de maintenance d'environ 8 heures (bien que les mises à jour précédentes aient parfois pris plus de temps), le jeu sera mis à jour vers la version 0.16.0.0 (Tarkov Arena sera mis à jour vers la 0.2.5.0).

Pour garder les joueurs engagés pendant les temps d'arrêt, Battlestate Games organisera un spécial Nouvel An sur Twitch à 16h00 GMT / 11h00 EST. Les détails restent secrets, mais les joueurs peuvent s'attendre à du contenu supplémentaire.

Quoi de neuf dans la mise à jour 0.16.0.0 ?

La version 0.16.0.0 confirme que la sortie complète du jeu reste suspendue, la repoussant probablement jusqu'en 2025. Cependant, plusieurs fonctionnalités importantes sont attendues :
